The Great Awakening

We are on the verge of the greatest move of God the world has ever seen. It’s going to be a time in history similar to the Jesus Movement in the sixties and seventies. We are at this cycle in time of transition where many will come into the Kingdom of the Lord. It is a time of suddenlies.
On Friday, January 9, 2009 a good friend of mine, Jill Austin, went home to be with the Lord. She is an anointed prophetic minister who has been in the ministry for over 30 years. So many are in shock at this sudden loss but it is going to tie in with what God is doing in this next wave. I am going to recap some past history briefly and come full circle at the end of how Jill’s death brings relevance.
In 1967 there was a 17 year old hippie named Lonnie Frisbee who went up to Tahquitz Canyon near Palm Springs. He was on LSD and was desperate. He cried out to the Lord, “God – if you’re real, reveal yourself to me”. He had a vision of Jesus who showed him the Pacific Ocean. But instead of being filled with water it was filled with people. But they were in darkness and confusion. The Lord told Lonnie he was putting a light on him to reach lost people. God gave Lonnie an incredible anointing on his life.
At the same time this was happening a middle-aged pastor named Chuck Smith was thinking of quitting the ministry after seventeen years. His congregation was very small and he was seriously contemplating this when a suddenly came into his life. That suddenly was Lonnie.
Lonnie was hitchhiking in Costa Mesa to evangelize people about Jesus. He was picked up by Chuck Smith’s daughter’s boyfriend.
Chuck had wanted to talk to a hippie and he was the perfect candidate. John brought him home to meet Chuck and the moment the door opened there was an instant bond.
Lonnie started attending the church and eventually started teaching a bible study on Wednesday nights. There was such a strong anointing on him and the power of God moved through him in incredible ways. Before long hundreds of hippies started coming to these meetings.
Eventually they started having mass baptisms in Corona Del Mar at Pirate’s Cove where Errol Flynn used to make all his pirate movies.
Time magazine got word of this and started having helicopters fly over and getting footage. They started reporting that a “Jesus Movement” had started and made Jesus “man of the year” on the cover of Time Magazine. A movement had begun by a hippie from the counterculture.
We are on the verge of another greater movement. But this movement will be about the Father. God is going to turn the hearts of the children back to the Fathers and the hearts of the Fathers back to the children – lest he strikes the earth with a curse.
Jill Austin knew Lonnie Frisbee very well and they used to minister together. I met Jill three years ago at Set Free church for the screening of the documentary about Lonnie. I had felt the Lord tell me to do a four part television show about the Jesus movement and Lonnie Frisbee. Jill Austin was one of the guests who I interviewed about Lonnie. Driving home from that taping I received a call from my director – Fred Paskowitz. He told me that this was such a great story we had to do a movie. A theatrical released motion picture!
This is a very long story and I am going to cut to the chase. Everything is getting ready to come full circle. It has been three years since I first met Jill and the Lord called me to this project. Jill had been very instrumental in introducing me to people who knew Lonnie where we could interview for storyline for the script. It’s a very difficult story because of the brokenness.
Lonnie’s real father left him when he was a young boy. He was molested by a boy babysitter for two years starting at age of eight. He got into the homosexual lifestyle at 15 in Laguna Beach. When he was called on that mountain he came away from homosexuality. But he had many challenges and at times would secretly revert to his counterfeit comforts. He eventually contracted aids and died at 43 in 1993. But he came full circle. The Lord showed me that Lonnie knew the Holy Spirit and Jesus. But he never understood the Father part of the Trinity. He finally saw the Father like the prodigal son and died in peace.
In John 12:24 it says, “Unless a grain of wheat fall into the ground and dies it abides alone. But if it dies it bears much fruit”. Lonnie told Jill that what the hippie was in the Jesus Movement God is going to use the homosexual in the next wave of God.
They are the “lost boys” who have the enemies hook in them from molestation. Over 95 percent of homosexuals have been molested.
Jill was a mother of Israel and was born in 1948. She was sixty years old and visited Israel for the first time in 2008 for Israel’s 60 year anniversary. She died at 9:48 in Kansas City on January 9, 2009.
Nine is the number of divine completeness. It also takes 9 months to have a baby. There are three trimesters in the baby’s development in the womb.
I believe that Jill crossed over into heaven and that her death is going to bring forth much fruit now with this next movement of God. The final script for the Lonnie Frisbee movie was given to me three days after Jill died. God is bringing things together quickly with investors and funding. I will be going to Sundance Film Festival in two days for some major meetings with studios. Jill’s last book was called “Dancing with Destiny”.
The Lord is going to use Show Business to show people His business. He is going to use Motion Pictures to start putting things into motion that are going to start a movement. Jill was born in Hollywood and was an artisan. Her passing over is now bringing forth many seeds which are going to spring to life and affect Hollywood.
Even as a song from the sixties said, ‘there’s something happening here – what it is –is not exactly clear”. We don’t understand God’s ways or timings. But one thing I do know is that NOW IS THE TIME.
A huge tsunami wave is getting ready to hit. But you have to get ready. The “lost boys” are getting ready to come home. Back to the Father’s House where God is going to run to them and cover them with his coat of many colors. They will repent of their sins and follow their heavenly Father – not the father of lies. It’s time for them to WAKE UP. Arise and Shine for their light has come.
Let us pray for this great movement and not be like many in the sixties and seventies who didn’t think hippies could get saved. Many churches turned them away. Let us not turn away those ones who God is going to quicken who are gay. They are not gay at all but are lost sheep in snares.
I will surely miss my friend, Jill Austin. But I know that she and Lonnie are cooking something up. A movement is at hand – get ready!

Our country is on the verge of a great change – a great awakening. With the rise of Barak Obama and his main message “It’s time for a change” you can see that the world is being set up. But are we being set up for the “Great Deception” or the “Great Awakening”?The church is in the midst of a cultural shift. We need to take this opportunity to rise to the task which God is setting before us and pray. All revivals are preceded by prevailing prayer. The choice is up to us….Choose you this day whom you will serve. I’m going to be sharing with you about a vision I had of the Lord and how I believe that we are going to affect our culture more than ever before.
Several years ago I had been praying for fresh insight from the Lord. I woke up early one morning and I heard the Holy Spirit speaking to me in His still small voice. But the words which came shocked me. I heard the Lord say, “the Church is where Snow White was”. Now I had not thought about Snow White for years. What are you trying to tell me God? Then I heard the Lord speak to me and give me a revelation. The Lord said that most of the church is in hiding. That most of the church is asleep! But soon she would be awakened. Then God started sharing the story of Snow White with me only in the language of heaven.
The Lord said, “Snow White was born to a King and a Queen in a Kingdom. She was loved and nurtured by her parents. But then the Queen died and the King married another women who was very vain (Jezebel spirit). The King died suddenly and now Snow White was literally an orphan. Because the wicked step-mother did not really care about Snow White but only how good she looked. She kept looking in the mirror on the wall every day and asked “Mirror, Mirror, on the wall – whose the fairest one of all”. And the mirror always said that she was the fairest in the land. But when Snow White turned seven things started to change. One day when the Queen went to the mirror and asked the same question, the answer was different. This time the mirror said that Snow White was more beautiful than her. Snow White started growing in her anointing. The number seven is God’s number of covenant. It was her turn to move into her anointing.
The wicked Queen was enraged and called for a hunter. She instructed the Hunter to take Snow White into the Forest and kill her. But bring back her heart so she could know that Snow White was really dead. When the hunter brought Snow White into the forest he took pity on the beautiful child and told her to run and hid in the forest. He instead killed an animal and brought back the heart to the wicked queen. For a time she was appeased.
Snow White was frightened but came upon the home of the seven dwarfs. She found favor there and sang songs and helped clean their place. They were miners who went every day to mine jewels and gold. They fell in love with Snow White!
One day the wicked Queen just had to go to the mirror again and see if she was the fairest in the land. But when she asked the mirror she was informed that Snow White was still the fairest and she was in hiding in the forest. The queen was enraged and disguised herself as an old woman. She came to the seven dwarfs house and used the apple to entice Snow White. It was the apple of deception – the lust of the eye. She took a bite and fell to the ground. The wicked Queen gleefully ran away thinking Snow White was dead. The seven dwarfs came home from work and saw their princess on the ground. They thought she was dead! But she was only under a spell. They put her in a glass encasement and every day looked at her beauty.
But one day the Prince of the land was passing through. When he saw the beautiful Snow White he asked for the dwarfs to uncover her from the casement. He wanted to touch her. She was too beautiful. They did as the Prince instructed. The Prince lovingly looked at Snow White. He gently touched her hand and then he leaned over and softly kissed her lips. The apple of deception which was lodged in her mouth came out and she awoke instantly. To the seven dwarfs amazement – she was not dead but only asleep. The Prince then took Snow White to His castle and she fulfilled her Destiny as queen and no longer an orphan.
The Lord spoke to me and then said – most of the church is in hiding. The spirit of Jezebel has tried to seduce or deceive her. Many have fallen asleep due to the poison and most feel like orphans. But Jesus is about ready to come and kiss His bride. She will awaken and take her rightful position as the Lord’s Bride. The great awakening is at hand. And then Jesus spoke to me and said, “I have not called my church to hide, which is shame. That is what Adam and Eve did when they sinner. They hid. I have not called my church to walk in pride – which is Vanity. Which is what the wicked queen did. But I have called my church to walk right by my side – which is humility. Many of you reading this have been the broken and hidden church. But the Lord now is going to take the best wine which He has saved for last and bring you forth for this great outpouring.
In conclusion, after the Lord gave me this message Disneyland celebrated their 50th anniversary. Disneyland brought Snow White back to the theme park. Fifty is the number of Jubilee. God is bringing restoration back to His church and getting His bride prepared for glory. It’s time to “Come Away My Beloved”. Now is the appointed Time. Arise and Shine for your light has come. I would see signs on the billboards around the city which said, “Snow is coming”. God is getting ready to bring purity back to the church. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall now be white as snow.
The Prince is getting ready to kiss His bride and make her pure. No longer an orphan but His Queen. It’s beginning to Snow. Bring it on.
